SWEET STAMPIN' BIRTHDAY

Hello everyone
and
Happy Saturday.

Sweet Stampin' is celebrating there Birthday this week ... Yay!
So the theme for this week is of course
Birthdays.

Here is my card

It's very simple like you can see. I die cut the balloons six times, and glued them all together. I also die cut some colored cardstock, so I could fill the balloons with some colors. I glued it all down on a pattern paper from Create A Smile - Feel Good. I heat embossed the sentiment with white directly on the cardstock, and glued the card front on my card panel. For a finishing touch I added some glossy accent to all the balloons.
You can see on the photo, that it wasn't dry when I took this picture, of the milky color on the balloons.

I hope you will play with us and help us celebrate all week long.

And we have a awesome sponsor this week
Crafts and Me.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

CHRISTMAS PLAID BACKGROUND

Hello Friends.

I have a simple and colorful card Christmas card
I want to share with you today.

I made my own plaid background with distress inks,
and it was so much fun.

Here is a close up

And I made a video too.
You can watch it here in HD - click!

I got inspired by few challenges, that I want to enter as well.

The Heart Desires - Challenge 6

I got inspired by the colors, and used all of them for my background and the snowflakes.

I got inspired by the pattern "Plaid"

SWEET STAMPIN' - USE RED FOR REMBERANCE

Happy Saturday!

It's time for another Challenge over at Sweet Stampin' and this week the theme is
Use Red for Remberance

This is what I came up with.

I'm loving this stamp from Ellen Hutson - Mondo Peony, it's just gorgeous.

I stamped the bigger flower on my card panel that is a watercolor cardstock. And colored it in with watercolor pencils. I also stamped the smaller flower and leaves on a watercolor cardstock that I colored in with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors.
I fussy cut the flower and leaves and added them on my panel with some 3D tape. I heat embossed the sentiment in white embossingpowder and added that also with 3D tape.

I hope you will play along this week, and remember, there must be stamping on your project to be in the prize drawing.
Crafts U Love is our fabulous sponsors this week, and she is giving away a prize to one lucky winner.
You should visit the Sweeties and see there amazing project, and get inspired.

I also want to enter this card to a few challenges
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Thinking of you

and
Simon Says Monday Challenge - Thinking of you
